Snowstorm

This sign of the power in nature
Reminds me of God, the Source of all Power.
A snowflake by itself is a tiny drop of water,
Indistinguishable from its companions by the naked eye,
Yet joined by many others,
It can shut down a city, halt traffic, and ground jumbo jets.
I am a snowflake drifting down through February skies
Join me with my brothers and sisters
In the one Mystical body of Christ,
And let love transform the world.

8:10 p.m.  Witness:  Candidates and Team members of the 200th Women’s Cursillo.

Terry Fincham, Marlene Anderson, Miranda Jarnot and Judy Langley shared their reflections on the 200th weekend experience.   They recounted special moments and feelings of peace and understanding.  They are looking forward to living as cursillistas, in group reunion, ultreya and other cursillo events.  Nancy Waskiewicz, Ginger Caldwell, Cheryl Pilkington, Gisela Victoria and Trudy Mihalcik shared the other side of the weekend story.  It was a blessing to be a part of the team of women, dedicated to making the experience of the new cursillistas as spirit-filled as possible.

·        Mar 17th: Cursillo School of Leaders, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Largo, MD. Recitation of Divine Chaplet of Mercy at 6:30 PM.

·        Mar 20th – Learning Ultreya for 200th Women’s Cursillo, St. Mary’s in Upper Marlboro MD.

·        Apr 21st: Cursillo School of Leaders, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Largo MD.  Recitation of Divine Chaplet of Mercy at 6:30 PM.

Prayer to become more like Jesus

God, our Father,
You redeemed us
and made us Your children in Christ.
Through Him You have saved us from death
and given us Your Divine life of grace.
By becoming more like Jesus on earth,
may I come to share His glory in Heaven.
Give me the peace of Your kingdom,
which this world does not give.
By Your loving care protect the good You have given me.
Open my eyes to the wonders of Your Love
that I may serve You with a willing heart.

Amen.
