Monday, July 13, 2009   (Held in Church Festival Room)

7:30 p.m.  – Opening Song:  City of God   (Pete on Banjo)

·        Joe Garcia led us in prayer, reciting The Beatitudes, the youth exhibiting the beatitudes in their cheerful assistance to the needs of our Calvert County residents during the Catholic Heart Work Camp, hosted by St. John Vianney parish this week.

·        Introductions

7:45-8:00 p.m.

·        Small groups

8:00 p.m. – Gathering Song: Only a Shadow   (Pete on Banjo)

8:10 p.m.  Witness:  Sue Baczynski led the group in a guided meditation, entitled “Living In Love”.  Her witness was about vacationing with God.  Sue recalled how her 7 year old granddaughter’s request that she accompany her to the beach was like a call from the Lord.  We can get stuck in our perception of ourselves and what we are capable of and need to trust the Lord and other people in our lives that they will accompany us and help us through our difficulties and weaknesses. God is with us always, whether we are aware of him or not.  He accompanies us in joys and sorrows, good days and bad. God’s love for us is beyond comprehension.
