MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

April 5, 2010

1. Opening Prayer: The opening prayer was given by Mary Mattingly.

2. Welcome: The president welcomed everyone and briefly covered the agenda for the evening. There were 18 members present for the meeting.

3. Secretary’s Report: Bill Scharpf reported that the March meeting highlights were distributed by e mail to all members. As there were no corrections or additions, they were accepted and will be posted by Jack McFadden on the club address on the Church website.

4. Treasurers Report: Maurice Erly reported

$466.76 Profit for strove Tuesday

We are currently in the Black for most of our activities.

5. Pastor’s Report:

· Father was unavailable this month.

6 Activity Reports: Old Business:

Awards Committee: Jackets: Jack Yatsko reported that we are all squared away with this year’s orders. We may place another order next year.
We decided to offer Men’s club golf shirts. It was decided Baby blue with gold lettering. Cost will be about $30 per.
$100 was sent to the Washington Retreat house.
St. Patrick’s day social was canceled.

7. Activities Reports: New Business

Ali is organizing a spring fling for the youth group. The men’s club will donate $100 for the event.
Mother day breakfast is scheduled for May 9^th. Larry will do the food. Everyone who shows up will be put to work (except Mothers). Currently schedule to be at the gym since the Vianney room is under renovations.
Other upcoming events:

June 5^th Boat Cruise, 6 to 9 PM, $17.50 per person, leaving from the Calvert Museum. See Jack Yatsko for payment and other details. We must pay for the date ahead of time so please give Jack a check ASAP if you are going. Sign up sheet is on the front table.
Fishing Trip, See Pete Albresch or Jack Yatsko. Scheduled for May 12^th. $130 per person.
Church Picnic, Scheduled for Aug 28^th.Signup sheet on the front table. As usual, we will be performing the cooking function to support the covered dishes provided by parishioners.
Golf trip for the kids or “juniors”. Schedule for May 2^nd. 2 age groups, 9 holes, $10/person. Cook out afterwards
