MEETING HIGHLIGHTSDecember 3, 2010
1. Opening Prayer: The opening prayer was given by Father Pete Alliata.
2. Welcome: The president welcomed everyone and briefly covered the agenda for the evening. A brief business meeting and then dinner, followed by special recognition and a 50-50 drawing. There were 34 men and one child present.
3. Secretary’s Report: In the absence of the Secretary, the president asked for corrections/additions to the November meeting highlights were previously distributed by email to all members. There being none in addition to the one correction submitted by the Church secretary. The Highlights were accepted as written. Jack McFadden will upload the approved Highlights to the church’s website.
4. Treasurers Report: Maurice reported that the books have been closed on the past year and the figures along with records are ready to be passed on to the new Treasurer.
5. Pastor’s Report:
· In the absence of Father Daly, there was no Pastor’s report
6. Activity Reports: Old Business:
· The President moved and it was seconded that this would be discussed at the January meeting. Approved by voice vote

7. Activities Reports: New Business
· The President announced the slate of officers for 2011. President: Vic Wisniewski, VP: Eugene Gonzalez, Secretary: Daryl Kupper, Treasurer: Scott Vagan. The slate was approved by vote. Congratulation to all the new officers and Committee Coordinators.
· Likewise, the rest of new business was tabled till the January meeting.
8. Prayers for the Sick and others:
Dick and Diane Hayes and family, Walter and Ethel Sands, Florence Knapper, Jean Prochownick, Linda Soles, Tina Nugent, Ed Noriega , Joe Pilkington’s Dad, John and Jean Doran, Earl Thorn, Joe Daigle, Russell Robertson, Florence Knapper , Stan Waskiewicz, Norma Garcia., Father Pete, Jeanette Gionfriddo, Charles Edward Blackburn, Larry Smialek’s cousin, JoAnna.
7. Closing Prayer: The closing prayer was led by Father Pete Alliata. Fatter Alliata also led us in the dinner prayer.
All members remained after the meeting for the annual seafood dinner, drinks, and a 50-50 drawing.
Following dinner, the Past President presented Certificates of Appreciation to:
The 2010 Officers Steve Pedone, Bill Scharf , Maurice Erly. He also presented certificates to Event Coordinators and Committee Chairmen: Jack Yatsko, Pete Abresch, Jack McFadden, Larry Donnelly, Dick Hayes, George Sullivan, Chuck Knapper, Maury Mattingly, Chuck Knapper, and Pete Abresch.
A surprise presentation was the designation of Honorary Membership in the Men’s Club to Marie Lebark, long time Usher, for her contributions to the Parish.
The President also recognized Jimmy Johnson for his generosity in donating the two new deep fryers for the club to use.
