Father Daly served as pastor at St. John Vianney Church from October 1994 to July 2017. Notable accomplishments during Father Daly’s tenure:
The number of families in the parish doubled.
Community Outreach:
Expanded ministry to local nursing homes, Calvert Memorial Hospital, Calvert County Detention Center, and Calvert County Drug Treatment Center
In 1997, Father Daly was instrumental in establishing Birthright, a crisis pregnancy center.
In 1997, Father Daly was instrumental in establishing Project ECHO, homeless shelter.
Service to the Hispanic Community with a Mass in Spanish each Sunday
In 2008, Father Daly led the effort to establish Safe Nights of Calvert County.
St. John Vianney Inter-faith Food Pantry opened in 2011.
Service to the World
Adopted San Juan de Bautiste Church in San Juan de Limay, Nicaragua in 2008 as a sister parish and built over 200 homes.
Adopted Our Mother of Mercy Parish in Pass Christian, Mississippi in 2005 and helped them rebuild their parish buildings after Hurricane Katrina.
Adopted three sister parishes in Mexico: Santa Ana, in Santa Ana, San Pedro in Chapulhuacan, and Sagrado Corazon (Sacred Heart) in Pisa Flores and provided assistance for parish facilities and individuals.
